Membership Categories
Charter Member or Associate Member
Both categories join the same community. Charter Membership is by invitation and carries voting rights, governance and global privileges; Associate Membership is an open, inclusive way in.
Charter Member (CM)
Distinguished entrepreneurs and visionary business leaders who guide the strategic direction of the chapter. CMs exclusively hold voting rights and are eligible for leadership positions — Executive Committee, SIG Chairs and program leaders — influencing TiE's mission locally and globally.
Associate Member (AM)
Aspiring entrepreneurs and professionals who benefit from extensive learning, mentorship and networking. AMs don't hold voting rights or leadership positions, but engage actively in chapter activities as volunteers to accelerate their growth.
